Marley's First Trip to the Zoo

We just got home from the zoo and we had a great time! We brought the double stroller and all our stuff (snacks, drinks, camera, quarters, diapers, wipes, extra outfit, paci...the list goes on forever) and got there around 10:40. Not too bad for a big outing with all 3 kids. We love having a zoo membership!

Marley seemed to enjoy herself. At one point I felt like she was one of the exhibits because so many people had stopped to look at her! Of course I think she was posing for them. Check her out:

Carter and London do this thing all the time where they act like birds. They walk around and say "Hawk, hawk!" It's so funny. Well today at the zoo London saw a bird that was saying it too! So she had to do her imitation. Here's a video of her doing it. The bird wouldn't cooperate for the camera so he wasn't saying anything at the time, but that's him in his cage at the very beginning of the video.

My favorite things at the zoo are some really red birds called Scarlet Ibis. The kids know that they're my favorite and are always so excited to see them with me. I just love them because they are so RED!

We had lunch near the elephants, giraffes, and zebras, and then we finished up quickly so we could get home for naps. It was the perfect family outing!
