Fun Weekend

My brother and his wife came to visit us this weekend and meet their two new nieces. They are expecting a baby boy in July, and we can't wait to meet him too! My dad boiled crawfish again while everyone was here. This was Marley's first crawfish boil! She slept in her bouncy seat on the deck the whole time we were eating, but soon she'll be right there with her brother and sister loving those crawfish. Now if we could just teach them how to peel their own! Here is a picture of my brother and his wife:

We took the stork out of our yard on Saturday after we finally took a picture with it. I was trying to wait until I was dressed in "real" clothes--not a t-shirt!--but that doesn't happen very often these days, so we decided to go ahead and take it anyway. My mom painted this stork when I was pregnant with Carter, so we've used it for all 3 of our kiddos. Shelly used it for Hannah and several of our friends have used it too. The "It's a girl" sign turns over to say "It's a boy" so that it can be used for either one. Isn't my mom talented?

Speaking of talent, my dad has lots too! When we had London, some of our friends gave us their swing set that they weren't using anymore. It was a great surprise for Carter, and gave him something new to do while there was a lot of attention on London. This time, my dad built a clubhouse for Carter and London to give them something fun to do while we're home a lot with Marley this summer. They love it, and it looks so good in our backyard!
